When Snoh Aalegra’s team reached out to All of Us about her upcoming tour and headline show at the Sydney Opera House, we saw an opportunity to create something truly spectacular. The performance was in-the-round, with a sold-out audience surrounding the stage, eagerly awaiting her first show in Australia.

Snoh is a remarkable performer and musician, and our goal was to match her energy on stage while guiding the audience through the emotional landscapes her music evokes so effortlessly. We envisioned a performance area that could shift and transform throughout the show, reflecting the depth and nuance of human emotion, which can be simple in essence yet infinitely complex in expression.

The design was guided by these principles. The stage needed to feel grand yet intimate, vulnerable yet powerful, intentional and graceful, emotionally charged, atmospheric, and dreamlike. It was conceived as a living, breathing space that could evolve, unfold, and blossom in harmony with the music, creating an immersive experience that brought Snoh’s artistry fully to life.
